The New Zealand Seafood Industry Council represents the interests of the New Zealand seafood industry.  This includes harvesting, aquaculture, processing, retailing, vessel operations and fisheries management.  The Council provides the industry with policy advice, science services, training services, information and advocacy.  We currently have an Information & Research Analyst vacancy, more information is available below.

 


Commercial fishing opportunities

Fishing companies in New Zealand advertise for crew in the national newspapers, and jobs will also be advertised on relevant fishing company websites (see related links at right).  The Fishing Industry Guild also has a job board for members only.  Advertisements for fishing and seafood related jobs can be placed in Seafood New Zealand Magazine, which has a circulation of 5600 readers.  You can also contact fishing companies direct for their job vacancies information.
