Te Ohu Kai Moana Trustee Ltd
Te Ohu is the corporate trustee of Te Ohu Kai Moana Trust - the trust responsible for advancing the interests of iwi in the development of fisheries, fishing and fisheries-related activities. Te Ohu replaced the Treaty of Waitangi Fisheries Commission on 29 November 2004 (which itself replaced the Maori Fisheries Commission in 1992) and its assets were invested in Te Ohu. Among its duties is to to allocate and transfer the settlement assets.
