Maersk turns its back on New Zealand seafood industry

New Zealand Seafood Industry Council chief executive Owen Symmans said shipping company Maersk had turned its back on the New Zealand seafood industry.

"The New Zealand seafood industry is the fifth largest exporter in the country, with an estimated value of $1.4 billion to the country. Maersk has made it clear that it no longer needs the business of this important New Zealand industry."
